Sarah Epp

Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Sarah’s sessions are a little brighter, a little louder, and a lot more intentional than what most people expect when they book a massage. Trained through a 2200-hour program at MH Vicars and shaped by years working alongside professional and recreational athletes in both Calgary and Winnipeg, Sarah brings an assessment-forward, movement-first approach to every client who walks through her door and a genuine conviction that massage therapy can do far more than most people know.

Her practice is built around empowerment. Rather than simply addressing what hurts in the moment, Sarah works to understand the full picture, a client’s history, their movement goals, their relationship with their body and builds treatment around where they want to go. Homecare is a cornerstone of her approach, giving clients practical tools and movement strategies they can take into their daily lives and sport. Sessions are engaged and collaborative, blending hands-on technique with open conversation about how the body moves and why.

Sarah’s own surgical rehabilitation journey is part of what drives her. She knows firsthand what it feels like to need care that goes beyond the surface and she has dedicated her practice to providing exactly that. Working with clients has taught her the importance of treating not only physical symptoms but managing the mental aspects of recovery, rehabilitation and longevity. Whether you’re a competitive athlete chasing performance, a weekend warrior managing wear and tear, or someone who just wants to get through the workday without feeling locked up, Sarah meets every goal with equal enthusiasm.

Who is Sarah outside of the clinic?

If it involves movement, Sarah is in. Whether she’s at CrossFit, snowboarding, biking, or running an ultra-trail, she lives the “movement-first” philosophy she shares with her clients. At home, she’s a lover of all animals (especially her dog Knox), a brewer of perfect espresso shots, and a frequent host for dinner parties. A self-proclaimed space obsessive, Sarah spent her youth wanting to be an astronaut. Today, you’ll still find her nightstand stacked with anatomy textbooks and sci-fi novels like Project Hail Mary. Sarah also works full-time in the technology industry. Because she doesn’t treat full-time, every hour she spends in the clinic is a choice fueled by passion and the joy of giving back to her community.

Why work with Sarah?

If you’re looking for a therapist who will take your movement goals as seriously as you do and give you the tools to actually reach them, Sarah is your person.
